Becca Hammen – Mormino , mother to a phenomenal little girl, and sign language interpreter for the Deaf and hard of hearing. I have served the Greater Kansas City Metropolitan area for the last 10 years interpreting for both individuals in small intimate settings, as well as platform interpreting for gatherings serving an attendance of upwards of 18,000. She counts herself among those fortunate individuals to be able to practice their passion on a daily basis.

Becca currently holds a COMPREHENSIVE level of certification, the highest level of certification achievable in the state of Missouri, and is licensed to work in both Kansas and Missouri. She is fluent in American Sign Language and Signed English. Becca has worked in a variety of settings including educational, elementary through post-secondary, medical, legal, theatrical, business, family and community events and has worked in a variety of venues including Sprint Center, Kansas City Repertory Theater, area convention centers and The Coterie Theater. 

Becca Hammen- Mormino has been fortunate to work with the stars while reaching for them.  Some of her favorite venues have found her interpreting for well-known people such as Garth Brooks, Bill Cosby and Kansas City’s own Buck O’Neil.
